Stelrad, the radiator manufacturer, has launched its Electric Series range of electric radiators, which became available from merchants from 1 September 20231. The Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering (CIPHE), of which Stelrad is an Industrial Associate, reported the launch on 13 September 20231. It is the first time the Stelrad brand has entered the electric heating market1.
The range covers around a dozen models, each in several sizes, including standard radiators and towel rails aimed at bathrooms and en-suites1. Heating parts carry a five-year warranty and electric components a two-year warranty1. Named products include the Electric Column, a rounded vertical tube column radiator in three sizes in white or anthracite grey; the Agata and Agata E-Flow flat tube towel rails in three sizes in both colours; the Electric Alu Simple Dry and Simple Fluid in three sizes in either colour; the Electric Cloud curved faced steel radiator in four models in white and anthracite; the Cobalto and Cobalto E-Flow flat tube towel rails; and the Electric Fantasia tubular towel rail in white or anthracite1. A matching colour digital thermostat and remote control are included with each model1. The E-Flow towel rails have a fan heater at the base and manual controls allowing the towel rail, the fan heater, or both together to be used as a 3 in 1 unit1.
Chris Harvey, Stelrad Head of Marketing, said:
"With a large proportion of the UK and Ireland looking for heating options for off the grid installations, and others keen to explore the all-electric solution to heating in the home, we are making available a new selection of good looking radiators to adorn homes across the country and to provide a new option for homeowners looking for something a little bit different in what are interesting times for us all."
