Powering Homes publishes this site and is responsible for the information described here. You can reach us through the contact page.
What we collect
- Visit statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits: the pages viewed, the site you came from, your country, and your type of device and browser. It sets no cookies, does not follow you to other sites and does not identify you.
- Security logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, briefly records technical details such as your IP address to keep the site working and protect it from attacks.
- Messages you send us. If you use the contact form we receive your name, email address and message. A spam check on the form may also process your IP address.
Cookies
The site sets no cookies. Because nothing is stored on your device to track you, there is no cookie banner.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis

How long we keep it
Visit statistics are kept only in summary form. Security logs are kept for a short period by Cloudflare. Contact form messages are kept for up to 12 months after our last reply and then deleted, unless we need them longer to correct a page or deal with a complaint.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or share your information for marketing. Cloudflare processes it on our behalf to host and protect the site; some of that processing may take place outside the UK, under safeguards recognised by UK data protection law.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it or stop using it. Contact us through the contact page and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we use information, we will update this notice and the date at the top of it.
