Myenergi Ltd has issued version 2.0 of its product warranty, which applies to zappi, zappi Pedestal, eddi, harvi, hub and libbi products "which have been purchased on or after 24 November 2023"1. The warranty is provided by Myenergi Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 10261262, with its address given as Pioneer Business Park, Faraday Way, Stallingborough, Grimsby, DN41 8FF1.

Warranty periods run from the date of purchase and differ by product. Zappi, eddi, harvi and hub each carry 36 months, extendable to 60 months if an extended warranty is bought1. Libbi carries 10 years for the battery pack with unlimited cycles, provided the Myenergi Controller used to manage the entire system is used; if the battery is connected to a third-party system or operated manually outside the Myenergi Controller, the period expires at a maximum of 3MWh per kWh of usable capacity, with 5 years for the hybrid inverter and controller1. Zappi Pedestal carries 12 months with no extended warranty available1.

Cover is for domestic or non-commercial use, with an exception for zappi and zappi Pedestal used in private off-street charging in commercial settings such as private car parks, multi dwelling residential properties or workplace charging1. Products installed for mass public charging, including supermarket or petrol station car parks and on-street parking, are not covered1. Owners must set up an account and register the product in My Account through the Myenergi app or website, and the original proof of purchase and an intact serial number are required1. The product must be installed and commissioned by a competent person and maintained according to the manufacturer's instructions; arranging your own installer to conduct a repair voids the warranty1.

"Myenergi will, at its sole discretion and free of material and labour charges, repair or replace the defective Product."
Myenergi Ltd, myenergi Product Warranty v2.01

Myenergi states that third party repair and replacement costs will not be reimbursed unless authorised in advance and in writing, that replacement products may be refurbished and are covered only for the remaining warranty term, and that its maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the product1. Faults must be reported first to the Myenergi support team by calling +44 (0)333 300 1303 or emailing support@myenergi.com with proof of purchase1. The warranty is transferable to a new owner of the property if the product is left behind, but not to a product sold or given to another person or company, or acquired from a private reseller or online resale platform1.

Why it matters for households

For a household, the warranty period sets how long a fault in materials or manufacture is fixed at no cost for parts and labour, and how long the equipment is backed after the installer has left. The differences between products matter: a zappi charger bought from 24 November 2023 carries 36 months as standard, while the libbi battery's 10 year battery pack term depends on staying within the Myenergi Controller, and falls back to a throughput limit of 3MWh per kWh of usable capacity plus 5 years for the inverter and controller if a third-party system is used1. Registration in My Account, proof of purchase and an undamaged serial number are conditions of any claim, so records kept at installation support a home's ability to enforce the cover later1. The exclusion of mass public charging means a charger used to sell charging to the public sits outside this warranty, which is relevant to homes weighing whether their installation counts as private off-street use1. The wider picture of cover lengths across brands is set out in EV charge point warranties and aftercare and manufacturer warranties on home energy equipment.

What happens next

The warranty applies to products purchased on or after 24 November 20231. Extended warranty purchase details are available in My Account, and Myenergi says the warranty may be amended from time to time1. No end date for version 2.0 has been reported.
