Anker SOLIX announced the UK and Ireland launch of the Anker SOLIX XE, an all-in-one home battery energy storage system with integrated inverters, on 14 September 20261. The company said the system is available in the UK and Ireland via authorised installers1.
The XE integrates a 7 kWh battery with the inverter in a single unit, using a method that removes the need for external wiring between inverter, battery pack and battery management system1. Each unit holds 7 kWh of built-in storage, and a single string can be expanded to 42 kWh across six modules. Up to three XE units can operate in parallel for a total system capacity of 126 kWh1. Three inverter options are offered: 5 kW, 6 kW and 8 kW. Anker SOLIX states the 8 kW option covers the vast majority of single-phase household peak load demands, including EV charging scenarios1.
The system uses 314 Ah LFP cells, supports 10,000 charge-discharge cycles and carries a 10-year warranty1. Anker SOLIX states the XE supports two full charge-discharge cycles daily, against the single daily cycle typical of conventional home batteries: one cycle storing daytime solar generation for evening discharge, and a second charging from the grid at off-peak night rates for early morning consumption. On that basis the company states a single 7 kWh XE can deliver the equivalent of 14 kWh of usable value per day1.
The XE supports both whole-home backup and partial backup modes, with maximum backup power reaching 16 kW in parallel configuration1. Anker SOLIX states it delivers whole-home backup with load-side 0 ms seamless switchover when the grid drops, working with the Anker SOLIX Backup Auto-Switch, which the company says saves 99% of distribution board space compared with conventional automatic transfer switch units and reduces costs by approximately 80% from the industry average1. The unit carries C5-M corrosion resistance and IP66 weatherproofing and is rated to operate from -20 C to 55 C1.
Solar input is handled through three MPPTs supporting from 4 to 33 solar panels and up to 15 kW of solar input, which Anker SOLIX says can generate up to 15,000 kWh per year1. A built-in AI EMS, powered by Anker PowerOS, connects to more than 870 electricity suppliers across Europe, predicting household energy needs and charging or discharging according to wholesale prices1. Installers stack the modules into place without cables1.

An all-in-one design of this kind removes the separate inverter, battery pack and BMS wiring that has kept home battery storage a multi-component installation, and the stackable format is aimed at installers rather than at households doing the work themselves.
