Newark Cylinders has published the specification and installation booklet for version 3.0 of its Super Cylinder range, dated October 2024, setting the manufacturer's guarantee at five years as standard and seven years for units installed by Heat Geek Verified and Elite installers1.
The standard guarantee covers manufacturing defects and applies provided the cylinder has been used and maintained in line with the booklet's guidance. That includes a full annual service record, with no more than a 12-month gap between installation, the first service and each subsequent service. The guarantee does not cover corrosion, stress fatigue, accidental damage or any other cause of failure outside Newark Cylinders' control1.
To activate the seven-year period, the installer must email their company name, the cylinder's unique serial number, the installation address and the installation date to Newark Cylinders, and the email must be sent from the verified company's official domain name1.

Version 3.0 adds five new models, bringing the total number of options to 141. All models include a 6.0m² coil except the HG150A, which has a 4.0m² coil because of insufficient space1. The cylinders are unvented, vertical, single-coil units with a normal working pressure of 3.0 bar, a maximum working pressure of 6.0 bar and a test pressure of 9.0 bar1. Body material is 1.0mm duplex stainless steel on 375mm and 450mm units and 1.5mm 316L stainless steel on 500mm and 600mm diameter units1. All unvented cylinders in the range carry Kiwa Regulation 4 (KUKreg4) certification1.
