Jackery put the E1000 v2, the E240 v2 and an upgraded SolarSaga 100W solar panel on sale in the UK on 15 August 2024, through its own online shop and Amazon, with early bird discounts running until 31 August1. The three products are relaunches of the company's Explorer 1000 and Explorer 240 models, which it describes as its popular classics1.
The E1000 v2 is a 1070 Wh unit with 1500 watts of output, weighing 11 kg and measuring 327 x 224 x 247 mm. Jackery says it is 20 per cent smaller and 10 per cent lighter than comparable 1 kWh models1. It carries a LiFePO4 battery rated at 4,000 cycles, with what the company calls AI-supported ChargeShield 2.0 protection, and offers six connections: two Schuko plugs, two USB-C ports, one USB-A port and a 12-volt input and output1. A GaN bi-directional inverter allows charging and discharging at the same time, and Jackery states the unit reaches a full charge in one hour in an app-controlled emergency mode, or one hour and 40 minutes in a battery-friendly fast charging mode1. The E240 v2 is a 256 Wh unit measuring 231 x 153 x 169 mm and weighing 3.6 kg, which Jackery calls one of the smallest 300-watt models available1. It has five connections, including a 230-volt socket, two USB-C ports (one rated at 100 watts in and out), a USB-A port and a 12-volt plug, and can be recharged from a 12-volt car charger, Jackery's mobile solar panels or a wall socket1. In fast charging mode it reaches 80 per cent charge in one hour and 20 minutes1. The SolarSaga 100W is a bifacial panel weighing 3.6 kg, which Jackery says is 10 per cent lighter than its predecessor and about 30 per cent lighter than comparable industry standards, and it can charge mobile devices directly through its own USB-C or USB-A ports without a power station1.

Pricing in the announcement is inconsistent. Jackery states that "until August 31, the E1000 v2 with an RRP of £749 costs only £899", a discount price higher than the stated recommended retail price, and that the same unit bundled with the SolarSaga 100W costs £949 instead of £11491. The E240 v2 is listed at £199 instead of £259, and a solar generator set with an 80-watt solar module at £299 instead of £4691. No explanation for the E1000 v2 figures has been reported.
