Jaguar Land Rover and Andersen EV announced a partnership on 15 November 2022 under which owners of electrified Jaguar and Land Rover models will be able to buy the Andersen EV A2 home charger1. The A2 will be available to all customers and is compatible with the full range of electrified Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles, according to Andersen EV1.
The A2 comes with 7 or 22kW power options and 96 colour and finish combinations, including precision-engineered metal or sustainably sourced Accoya wood1. Each charging point is made to order in Andersen EV's UK factory1. The unit has a hidden compartment that keeps the charging cable and plug out of sight when not in use1. Once installed, owners can track energy use and costs from an Apple or Android smartphone through Andersen EV's Konnect+ app, and the charging point has a remote software locking feature1.
Under the arrangement, home chargers will be installed at Jaguar Land Rover showrooms, where customers can try them and place an order at the same time as reserving a vehicle1. Andersen EV will then carry out an on-site survey and install the wall box1.

The partnership sits alongside Jaguar Land Rover's Reimagine strategy, revealed in February 20211. Jaguar is to be reimagined as an all-electric luxury brand by 2025, and all Land Rover nameplates will be available in pure electric form by the end of the decade1. A battery-electric Range Rover is set to premiere in 2024, and the New Range Rover Sport will offer pure electric propulsion from 20241. The New Range Rover plug-in hybrid produces CO2 emissions as low as 18g/km and provides up to 70 miles of EV range1.
