Hypervolt launched its Managed Installations Programme with loveelectric, a salary sacrifice provider, on 1 March 20241. Under the programme, OVO Energy's team of more than 100 nationwide EV installation engineers will fit Hypervolt's Home 3 Pro charger for existing and future Hypervolt partnership customers1. Hypervolt said it signed a multi-year partnership extension with loveelectric in January, after what it described as a hugely successful first year following launch1.
The company said the arrangement lets it work with vehicle manufacturers, fleets, leasing companies and dealership groups that need rapid nationwide roll-out with uniform pricing and service1. Hypervolt's Home range has drawn more than 2,200 NAPIT and NICEIC electrical contractors to its Trusted Installer programme since that scheme launched in spring 20211. The Managed Installations Programme sits alongside OVO's Charge Anytime tariff, which Hypervolt says allows charging at 7p per kWh regardless of time of use1.
loveelectric customers can also receive a 5,000 free charging miles credit through a Hypervolt and OVO charging bolt-on if they switch to Charge Anytime1. Hypervolt states the average British driver covers just over 7,000 miles a year, which it says makes the credit equivalent to more than eight months of zero running costs1. loveelectric, based in Edinburgh, says it offers drivers up to 60 per cent off the latest electric vehicles1.

Alex Thwaites, Director of EV at OVO, said OVO was delighted to have partnered with Hypervolt, citing shared ambition on accelerating EV adoption in the UK alongside what he called a beautiful unit with exceptional functionality1. David Woodford, Hypervolt's Head of Partnerships, said customers considering an EV also weigh where their home energy comes from and how competitive their domestic tariff is, and that working with OVO lets them get charger, tariff and related home energy products in one place1.
